As per an online survey  , it was found that  27% respondent would prefer to have counseling sessions from psychologists who hold a master degree , while 25% strongly believe in getting counseling sessions from psychologists who hold a doctoral degree and 40% respondent would prefer to have counseling sessions from psychologists who hold a post doctoral  training. Thus it is clear that  job prospects get better by higher education but there are huge scope for psychologists  who do not have a doctoral degree.
