The human skeleton can be divided in 2 parts: axial and appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton is composed by the skull, spine and ribs. The appendicular skeleton refers to the limbs (both arms and legs).

Using the metaphor of the coat rack, the axial skeleton would be the central pole of the rack and the appendicular skeleton would be both the pieces where you hang the coats and the feet or base of the coat rack.

Axial skeleton: The middle stand or pipe of coat rack.

Appendicular skeleton: The two peripheral side pipes on which coat is hanged and the base of rack with the help of which it is standing.

Human skeleton is perfect pattern of bones to structure and support the body.

It is divided into two parts:

the cells uses some of the atoms of the glucose molecules to atp molecules. the atoms of the glucose molecules will then be converted into energy which will be eventually stored in atp. the energy produced which are stored in atp are coming from the glucose’s chemical bonds.
