If rainbow trout were transferred from warm water to near freezing water (2°c), what changes in the trout would occur in the trout's nervous system in the colder water?

The trout would produce a new isozyme of acetylcholinesterase that hasa lower optimal temperature, allowing the fish's nervous system to perform normally in the colder water.

Temperature will influence the abilities of enzymes to catalyze chemical reaction. Lower temperature will cause the molecule to have a lower kinetic energy and moves slower, which make the substrate and enzyme collide less. Unlike change in pH, change in temperature won't change the structure like
