Herding is the act of animals forming groups while grazing grass in the field. It increases the protection of the individual animal by creating a confusion in the eyes of the predator. Herding can also increases the chances of finding a mate as the animals stick close to each other, thereby increasing their reproductive success.

Cooperative hunting is the act of hunting animals in packs. Example lions and wolves. These animals corner the preys to isolate from their herds and hunt them. This increases the chances of successfully catching of prey.

igneous rocks are formed by solidification of cooled magma (molten rock), with or without crystallization, either below the surface as intrusive (plutonic) rocks or on the surface as extrusive (volcanic) rocks.
