The artists edward burne-jones and william morris believed that society should reject rampant industrialization and restore

Edward Burne-jones and William Morris are both artists and are influenced by classic art. They appreciate beauty and despises realism. 

They are both members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, a group of artists. They both want to reform art but in a different way. They want to combine romance and social reform through improving detailed artworks with more vivid colors.

Maybe because it was so unique, a form of art, and they could easily store things in it and no one had ever done that before. i’m not sure but that’s what i think : )
