I have another poem today, Ik two in one day it is okay. And yes this is an academic purpose my teacher gives me extra credit. It is called “thorn bush” I had beautiful flowers on my rose bush
But your cold wind and heart killed them
Now all I have is protective sharp thorns
But it is okay
I grew a little rose at the top of my bush
You took a step stool and cut it
As soon as your work is done you leave
I knew I had to protect myself better
I grew more thorns
And my rose in the middle
Later you came back to cut it again
When it was big and beautiful
You walked over and tried to reach through but there is too many thorns
So you gave in and left
A guy came to see how much I had grew
But he couldn’t get to the beautiful flower
Because of all the thrones I had made
But of course I’m not a rose bush anymore
I am a thorn bush.
