1.Ipatong ang typewriting o oslo paper sa mesa. Lagyan ng masking tape ang paligid ng typewriting o oslo paper. 2.Gumamit ng madilim na kulay na pintura o water color para sa background ng gawain. 3.Patuyuin ang nilagay na pintura o watercolor sa background.
4.Lagyan ng pintura ang likod ng dahon na gagamitin bago idikit sa oslo paper o tywpewriting. 5.Ipatong nang dahan-dahan ang dahon sa ibabaw ng oslo paper o typewriting at iwasang gumalaw ang mga ito. 6.Tuunan ng madiin upang lumipat ang kulay sa pinatuyong background. 7.Patuyuin ang monoprint sa oslo paper o typewriting.​
