In truth, I cou^ldn’t care a^ bit if I di^^ed, but I’d be pretty sad if the people around me did
. I suppose it’s some kind ^of eg^o; that goes “because I just wou^ldn’t like it”
Not car^ing if strangers live or not,
And hat^ing someone else just seems like some kind of fashion now
But “Live pea^cefully” nevertheless?
What a wonderful thing that would be indeed...

On the other side of the scre^en, someone di^es
Lame^nting that, someone else sings
Influ^enced by that, a yo^ung boy
Ran off ca^rrying a k^n^ife.

We are hat^ed by life itself.
Pus^hing values and ego, as always, so very simply we bro^adcast songs about
wanting to k^ill somebo^dy else over rad^io waves.
We are ha^ted by life itself.
We who thou^^ghtlessly say we want to d^ie
And look at life thoug^htlessly, are hat^ed by it.

I’ve got no m^on^ey, and so throughout the day again, I write songs of praise to indo^lence
Still without gra^sping the meaning of life, I come to an epi^phany that it’s poi^ntless and take a bre^ath.
Are these wo^unds really ok to be expressed with words like “I’m lon^ely”
Carrying nothing but such obs^^tinacy, today again I sleep alo^ne on my b^ed

We who were but you^ths at some point start to change into you^ng adults.
Growing ol^d, one day we ro^t away like fallen leaves with not a soul in the world knowing of our existence...
Obtai^ning an immortal bo^dy, and living our whole existence without d^ying…
just daydr^eaming about these kinds of scie^nce ficti^on situations

I cou^ldn’t ca^re a bit if I d^ied,
But I’m wan^ted alive by the people around me
Liv^ing on carrying such contradictions... I think I’ll get ye^lled at.
“Things that are “correct” should stay “correct””
“If you don’t want to di^e, then live”
If we’re going to end up s^ad and if that’s fine
Then you gotta laugh alo^ne forever

We are ha^ted by life itself.
Without even grasping the mea^ning of joy, we just ha^te the hand life has dealt us
and merely cu^^rse our pasts.
We are hat^ed by life itself.
We who simply like the idea of the word “goodbye” a little too much, with no know^ledge of a true farewell, are hat^ed by life itself.

Happiness, farewells, love and friendship;
They’re all go^ods that can be bou^ght for money… within jokes made by comical dreams.
I might just d^ie tomorrow you know,
. Eve^rything might just end up bei^ng for naught.
Mornings and nights, spring and autumn,
Uncha^nging, someone di^es somewhere.
I don’t need dreams or even a tom^^orrow,
If you’ll have liv^ed on then th^at’s all I need.
