I Keep On: A poem made by me I keep on telling myself that I'm fine
I keep on trying to smile
I keep on trying to be happy
I keep on trying to pretend I'm perfect
I keep on trying to act like your words don't hurt

I keep on dying inside
I keep on crying at night
I keep on being sad
I keep on messing up
I keep on allowing your words to cut me

I keep on saying everything's ok
I keep on my mask until I'm alone
I keep on acting like happieness is real for me
I keep on being who they want me to be
I keep on wishing I were dead.

Am I strong enough to fight?
Am I brave enough to stop faking?
Am I ready to ask for help?
Am I ok with who I really am?
Am I going to have the courage to say I'm not ok?

When will this hell end for me?
Is it truly impossible for me to be happy?
Can I really trust the help from others?
Will I be able to love myself?
How can I stand tall on my own?

No, I'm not ok
Yes, I wear a mask
No, I don't want your sympathy
Yes, I cry at night
No, I don't want to be sad anymore
Yes, I need help

Can you hear me cry for help?
