I wrote a new poem!! what is love
is it truly a chemical reaction in our brain like scientists say it is
or is it a feeling

a feeling of being complete
a feeling of being wanted
a feeling of being cared for

i never knew what love is
i was never in a complete home to say to myself
"they're in love"
or
"i want to be in love like them one day"

so what exactly is love
is it a rush you get when you're with a specific person
or is it a feeling of complete helplessness

whatever love is
whatever it feels like
i hope to feel it one day
