In old times when there was shortage of food for most of the people,  the parents' primary focus was just to provide enough food to their families. But in recent times, parents, who have access to enough and a large variety of food, have become more conscious of providing healthful food to their families. In countries or societies, where there is shortage of food, we observe that parent’s main focus remains providing enough food to their families.
