why do the photographers use a polarizing filter when photographing the waterfall?
- photographers use polarzing filter. it saturates color and other stuff.

why does gardner suggest trying a horizontal photograph for a waterfall?
- you can get more space/surrounding; like the whole waterfall in the picture.

how did the photographers adjust to photographing at night?
- they use extra light from the moon to shine on the object/person or whateva to look nice in the pic

what are the challenges of photographing at night? why did the photographer “paint” the waterfall with the flashlight?
- idk the challenges but you need light.

did you like the daytime or nighttime waterfall photographs best? why?
- i like nighttime because u can use the pretty light to flash on the waterfall and then the background is so pretty like cloudy and stuff.

why do we often miss the effect of the light in our photograph?
- the light reflects on the lenses when they combine.

when should you consider the light in a photograph?
- if you wanna light face or whateva; most people put a outline of light.

how do elements in the scene affect the lighting of a picture? give an example of this.
- people can make a photo of something in daytime/nighttime but make it any type of way like make the picture darker as in night when its daytime.

why is seeing the light in our pictures important?
- the light shines on whateva your taking most likely person/object. then it captures the picture.

what do you think is the most challenging aspect of working with light in photography?
what can you do to reduce this challenge?
- it's hard when you find the perfect spot of lines and aspects and then you loose it; then can't find it again.
