The purpose of this type of art was to show all the angels coming down to the earth.

If I were to creat an illuminated manuscript about life and religion in today’s world, I would make it look the earths destruction, because frankly the earth is being destroyed by humans with waste. It would be a painting of the art on fire and money floating around.

The artist used lots of hues of blues, very safe and warm. The gold frame also may represent royal.
