Some of the music in the 1960s was used to protest social and political issues. is music still used as a form of protest? why or why not?

I think yes because there are many examples that express this today like Sit Still Look Pretty by Daya she is explaining how women are always looked at like objects and that is a social issue.  

the above mentioned statements talks about the creativity of an artist and to what extend they can utilize and experiment on the objects provided.   differing size and subjects are given so that an image of wisdom is created. displaying a transition from light to dark in something by darkening sections in order to create a shadow. and lastly, putting bits and pieces together to formulate a new image.
