Why is energy flow through an ecosystem dependent upon continual energy transformations?

Energy Transformations plays an important role in the eco-system because they are interdependent with the other biome in the system. Energy is converted by the different organisms in the system, thus created a relationship with them. If the energy is disrupted, there is also a possibility that energy transformation may be affected.
