The most successful treatment perspective for depressive disorders and bipolar disorders has been an eclectic combination of the biological, psychological, and sociocultural approaches. Revisit the case study in this chapter. The treatment plan for Janice utilizes all of these different perspectives in Janice’s treatment plan. An additional issue in this case study is Janice’s ability to continue with the neuroleptics prescribed for her treatment. Evaluate Janice’s treatment plan and hypothesize about her prognosis, both with and without continued treatment.
