Why do you think this job is the most unsafe? Describe and explain what the potential occupational hazards of this career field are and precautions that could be taken to avoid injury. 2. Consider the environment that you live in and the immediate environment that you are in at this moment. What environmental determinants of your health exist in your current space? Discuss and explain—be specific.
3. Many environmental health risks could be greatly decreased if we found a global way to take better care of our poop. How could we do this? Brainstorm a specific idea that might help encourage this on a global level. Explain and describe.
4. As you learned in the unit, your household potentially contains a variety of health risks— generally related to your water, food, or poop habits. Evaluate how sanitary and safe your own household is based on what you learned in the unit and identify specific ways that you could minimize any health risks in your home.
5. Imagine that you are embarking on an extended trip into the wilderness where you will have little access to emergency responders or hospitals, and because of this, you have decided to pack an emergency bag. What items would you include in this emergency bag? Why? Briefly explain and describe at least 5 items that you would include (simply list any others and try to limit your list to around 20 items).
