How do nerve cells operate and communicate

Our nervous system contains millions of nerve cells that are called neurons. Neurons are advanced cells to transmit messages from one part of our body to another, that signal our body to complete a task or function. Usually these neurons or nerve cells travel through our muscles and glands.
